Cleveland Barons 3 @ Colorado Thunderbirds 2

The Cleveland Barons (8-0-0) conquered the Colorado Thunderbirds (3-5-0) to earn their eighth consecutive win. While the shots on goal for either side seem a bit mediocre--Cleveland ending with 14, and Colorado ending with 12--both teams racked up a crushing cumulative total of 14 minutes of penalties.

The first period produced Cleveland brutality, but began with Colorado's #9 Enzo Sinha being assessed a two minute minor for holding. At 13:16, Cleveland's #24 Tiernan Keith was assessed a two minute minor for roughing. At 9:51, Cleveland was charged with having too many men on the ice, and #86 Roman Azaletsky was placed in the sin bin for the two minute minor. At 3:19, #40 Joey Crimboli scored the first goal for Cleveland and the game alongside #55 Nico Pusateri, and #93 Nolan Kinder.

The second period kicked into gear when Crimboli, assisted by Azaletsky and #28 Jake Peterson, scored again, putting the Barons at a two goal advantage. At 10:55, #86 Brody Duits forced his fellow Thunderbirds to go on the powerkill when he was assessed a two minute minor for tripping. Cleveland's #20 Ty Haats was assessed the same penalty at 6:43. Haats went into the sin bin a second time after being assessed a two minute penalty for cross-checking.

The siren's were consistently sounded during the third period. At 10:18, the Thunderbirds scored their first goal at the hands of #86 Duits, and #14 Ryland Cooke. At 4:37, Colorado's #68 Anthony Yunker tied the game, assisted by #10 Nixon Eldredge. But, at 3:52, it was Cleveland's #55 Pusateri, alongside Haats and #24 Keith, who scored the final goal of the game, giving the Barons the one goal lead they needed to win the contest. To wrap up the action, Colorado's #58 Jan Vesely was assessed a two minute minor for cross-checking at 3:19.

There are no games scheduled on Tuesday, November 3rd for either club.

Rocky Mountain Roughriders 1 @ Philadelphia Hockey Club 2

Although forcing an overtime period, the Rocky Mountain Roughriders (5-3-0) fell to the gritty Philadelphia Hockey Club (5-3-0). Despite this, the Roughriders outshot Philly with 32 to 24 in goal attempts.

While no goals were scored in the first period, the Roughriders and Philadelphia refused to go easy on each other when it came to the physicality of the game. At 11:15, Philadelphia's #22 Daniel Dowling was the first to enter the sin bin after being assessed a two minute minor for holding. At 8:07, Roughrider #9 Michael Dovidio was assessed a two minute minor for tripping. Philadelphia ended the first period action with #23 Anthony Berretta being assessed a two minute minor for tripping.

The second period was an absolute stalemate, with the only action highlight being Roughrider #16 Ryan Trudgeon's two minute hooking penalty.

At 13:04, Philadelphia's #22 Dowling was tossed after being assessed a 10 minute game misconduct for unsportsmanlike conduct. At 10:49, the Roughriders were forced to be a man short after #9 Dovidio was assessed a two minute minor for roughing. Capitalizing on the opportunity, #13 Cade Weiner scored a powerplay goal for Philadelphia, assisted by #10 Dominic Liberati and #76 Carmine Laspata. At 6:26, the Roughriders tied the game, thanks to #16 Trudgeon and #81 Chase Behler. At 6:26, the Roughriders went shorthanded again, when #3 Kane Mandel was assessed a two minute minor for tripping. Philadelphia's #23 Berretta went back into the sin bin for a two minute roughing minor at 4:46. Though forcing an overtime, the Roughriders were unfortunately forced to be a man short when not only Trudgeon was forced to serve a two minute penalty for too many men on the ice, but also when #27 Imari Snowden was assessed a hooking minor right at the end of the third period.

At 3:12, Philadelphia's #13 Weiner, alongside #10 Liberati and #86 Jason Amer, scored the overtime winning goal.

There are no games scheduled on Tuesday, November 3rd for either team.

The third period began 4-on-4, but no goals were scored until #25 Judge Glommen, assisted by #17 Casen Youngman and #19 Carson Owen, lit the lamp for Wasatch. At 8:50, Owen was assessed a two minute minor for slashing. Tempers went white hot when, at 5:34, Owen and Shuma were given two minute minors for roughing, though Shuma was additionally given a five minute match penalty for fighting the rival Renegade.
