SHOW League Announces 2026-27 Season Schedule
Entering another exciting season, the SHOW League continues to provide elite competition, premier exposure opportunities, and a direct pathway to junior hockey advancement for many of the nation's top Tier I and Tier II programs.
Comprised of top USA Hockey National Championship-bound organizations from across the country, the SHOW League has become one of the premier development platforms for players aspiring to reach the NA3HL, NAHL, and beyond.

Built for Exposure and Advancement
One of the greatest benefits of the SHOW League is its commitment to player exposure. NAHL and NA3HL coaches and scouts are designated to attend league events throughout the season, with extensive scouting coverage at each stop and full NA3HL representation at the SHOW Top Prospects in Michigan.
Hosted in three of the country's strongest hockey markets, the SHOW League provides players with meaningful exposure while competing against quality opponents from outside their local region. These destinations also offer opportunities to experience NCAA and junior hockey environments firsthand.
Competitive Scheduling Model
The SHOW League utilizes its CBD (Competition, Balance & Development) ranking system to build schedules and playoff matchups. Teams are strategically matched to create competitive games, limit local matchups, and maximize developmental opportunities throughout the season.
Proven Results
The SHOW League continues to produce advancement opportunities for its players:
- 53 SHOW League players tendered by NA3HL teams during the 2025-26 season
- 7 SHOW League players selected in the NA3HL Draft
- SHOW League member programs captured a USA Hockey Tier II National Championship
In addition, SHOW League participants have exclusive access to the NA3HL Tender System, creating a direct connection between league participation and junior hockey advancement.
"We are thrilled to continue seeing our league members move players on to the NA3HL and beyond," said Dennis Vickers, Director of Player Personnel for the NAHL and Director of the NAPHL. "This reinforces our commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for player development and advancement. It's also encouraging to see our member teams succeed both within our events and on the national stage, demonstrating that the SHOW League is preparing players and programs for the next level of competition."
Additional Opportunities
Top 16 & 18U performers from the SHOW League receive consideration for the annual SHOW Top Prospects Event, held in conjunction with the NAHL Combine in Detroit, Michigan. This event places players directly in front of dozens of NAHL and NA3HL scouts and serves as one of the premier exposure opportunities within the NAPHL structure.
