Madison Capitols AAA 18U forward Kostichka signs NAHL Tender
The NAPHL’s T1ER League is excited to announce the tender agreement signed between the Minnesota Mallards of the NAHL and the Madison Capitals 18U AAA forward Wyatt Kostichka. The agreement will carry through the end of the 2026-27 season.
During the 2025-26 NAT1HL season, Kosticka played in 16 games and recorded nine total points. Five goals and four helpers are what made up those nine points. The Sun Prairie, Wisconsin native had two multi-goal games en route to the five total goals that he scored this season.
The 6-foot-2 forward’s best performance of the season came on Oct. 19 where he netted two goals in a 4-1 victory of the Lincoln Stars, with one of those goals being the game winner.
So far this season Kostichka has played six games with the Mallards against some of the top teams in the North American Hockey League including two games against the Aberdeen Wings and two games against the Austin Bruins.
Kostichka is one of three players from the Madison Capitals 18U AAA team to sign a tender agreement with a NAHL team this season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2026 NAHL Draft.
