Indiana 18U forward Beam signs NAHL Tender

The NAPHL’s T1ER League is pleased to announce that Indiana Elite 18U forward Nick Beam has signed a NAHL tender agreement for the 2026-27 season with the Rochester Jr. Americans of the NAHL’s East Division.

Beam, 18, has been with Indy since the 2023-24 season, competing at both the 16U and 18U levels. Across all three of his seasons in the T1ER league, the ‘07 forward has consistently produced at a high level, averaging a point per game or better.

In his final season of youth hockey, Beam appeared in nine T1ER contests, tallying 12 points (7 goals, 5 assists) while helping lead Indy on a run toward the Dixon Cup. Throughout the season, he turned in several multi-goal performances, but one outing that stands out came on January 30, when Indy earned a 5-2 victory over the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers.

In that matchup, Beam powered the offense with two goals, including one on the powerplay, and added an assist on the game-winning tally to cap off a three-point performance.

He is one of five players from Indy’s 18U team to sign an NAHL tender agreement for the upcoming season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2026 NAHL Draft.
