18U:

After a tough loss earlier in the day, the Chicago Jets bounced back with a strong 2-1 victory over the Lafayette Locomotives in a tightly contested matchup.  The first period was scoreless, with both teams trading chances. In the second period, Lafayette scored the first goal. Chicago answered when Evan Kreidler found the back of the net, tying the score to 1-1. Chicago regained the lead midway through the third period when Rhett Mizwicki scored the eventual game-winner. Chicago held firm defensively the rest of the way, securing the bounce-back win.

Orange County Hockey Club earned a composed 3-1 win over Team Wyoming behind timely scoring and strong teamwork. Orange County opened the scoring early in the first period as Nathan Long capitalized to give his team the lead. The advantage doubled in the second period when Hayden Miyasaki scored the eventual game-winning goal. Wyoming pulled within one on a power-play goal in the third period, but Orange County quickly responded with a shorthanded tally from Michael Nilsen to seal the victory.

The Texas Heat completed a comeback victory, defeating Monument Hockey Academy 4-3 in one of the most competitive games of the event. Monument jumped out to an early lead in the first period, but Texas stayed within reach. In the third period, Texas tied the game before carrying momentum to the end.  Texas took control late in the final period, with Lucas Chaffee scoring a pair of power-play goals, including the game-winner, to secure the one-goal victory.

Tri-Valley Bulls defeated the Lakeville Prowlers 2-1 in a shootout after a defensive battle that extended beyond regulation.  Tri-Valley opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from James Erpelding, but Lakeville answered shortly after to even the score. Neither team found the net through the second, third, or overtime periods.  The game was ultimately decided in the shootout, where Tri-Valley converted to earn the hard-fought win.

16U:

The California Heat won a close battle, defeating the Jacksonville Jr. Icemen by a final score of 2-1 in overtime. After a scoreless first two periods, both teams found the back of the net on the power play in the final frame. Oliver Perry opened the scoring for the Heat, and Nathan Jagdozinski responded for the Icemen just four minutes later. The game headed into overtime tied 1-1. Less than two minutes into the extra frame, Logan Smith scored to win the game for California. Perry and Smith were the stars of the game, each contributing a goal and a primary assist to secure the victory.

The West Dundee Leafs come away with a 2-1 victory, defeating the Anaheim Jr. Ducks in overtime, after a dominant effort. Anaheim opened up the scoring in the second period with a power-play goal from Luke Defazio after a scoreless first. Despite heavily outshooting the Ducks in all three regulation periods, the Leafs only found the net once, also in the second period. Brandon Yu tied the game with what would end up being the last goal in regulation. After getting a power-play opportunity in the extra frame, the Leafs converted with a goal from Blake Byrne. After dominating the shot totals for the entire game, it was nice for the Leafs to secure the win, remaining undefeated.

The Orlando Park Vikings edge out a tight 2-1 overtime victory over the McKinney North Stars. Orlando opened the scoring in the first with an unassisted goal from Cameron Kristin. After a tight few periods, the score would remain 1-0 until there were less than five minutes left in the third period. Nearing the end of regulation, Benjamin Berg tied the game for the North Stars, forcing overtime. In the extra frame, Jack Hudacek buried the puck to secure the win for Orlando. The shot totals were extremely close, with Orlando having a 19-17 advantage, and both goalies performed well, keeping their teams in the game.

14U:

Team Wyoming secured a close 4-3 victory over the Santa Clara Blackhawks in a back-and-forth game. Santa Clara scored first in the opening period, but Wyoming responded quickly to even the score. The second period saw both teams trade goals, keeping the game tight heading into the third. In the final period, Bryce Wichert scored the game-winning goal to lift Wyoming to the one-goal win.

The Northwest Chargers claimed a dramatic 4-3 shootout win over the San Diego Jr. Gulls. Jackson Dehart opened the scoring for Northwest in the first period, but San Diego responded in the second with a pair of goals to take the lead. Northwest answered back later in the period, setting up a tied game entering the third. After a scoreless third period and overtime, Northwest prevailed in the shootout thanks to Cody Hoffman.
