Blaine Hosts Day 2 of FALL League Competition

The FALL League rolled into day 2 in Blaine, Minnesota, as teams hit the ice with high intensity and plenty on the line. Running alongside the renowned NAHL Showcase, the competition is heating up fast. Fans can stay locked in with live scores and catch every game streaming on NATV.

Minnesota Mallards
The Minnesota Mallards made a statement against their in state rivals the Minnesota Wilderness. The Mallards put the puck in the back of the net 9 times with 7 different goal scorers. Cooper Hehir scored 3 goals for the hattrick and had an assist. Brayden Klande, Marshall Haukam, Cooper Toepper, Quinlyn Ryan, William Stricker, and Austin Kubasek all scored a goal apiece. Back in the net for the Mallards, Mark Ksizaek, saved 23 of the 24 shots taken on him, allowing one goal in, having a 95 save percentage. The Mallards took a big win 9-2.
Oklahoma Warriors
The Oklahoma Warriors improve to 2-0, handing the Austin Bears their first loss. The 2 goal scorers were Kaden Larson and Tommy Colmenero. The Oklahoma Warriors defense was suffocating all game long allowing no scores from the Austin Bears. Even though they won the game the Bears actually took more shots on goal than the Warriors. Elias Tomaska, the goalie for the Warriors, saved a staggering 31 shots, 100% of the shots on goal from the Bears. The Warriors pose a shut out 2-0.

Wisconsin Windigo
The Wisconsin Windigo grab their first win over the 0-2 Janesville Jets. The Windigo scored 5 times with 4 different goal scorers. Caiden Defendi was the only player to score multiple goals, scoring 2. Trent Peterson, Camden Peterman, and Cooper Geib each scored a goal. Mason McDonald and Luciano Paoli each had 2 assists. The Windigo dominated the contest only allowing 1 goal. Calvin McKnight saved 16 of 17 shots taken on him, conceding the only goal scored by the Jets, Sean Cartwright saved all 6 of the shots taken on him. The Windigo get in the win column with a 5-1 win over the Jets.
Odessa Jackalopes
The Odessa Jackalopes improved their perfect record to 2-0 in a win over the Minnesota Mallards. Hudson Grater, Benny Abbott, and Axel Schneider were the goal scorers for the Jackalopes. The win was finished off in a late surge in the third period, Axel Schneider scoring the game winning goal and Hudson Grater putting one in with less than a minute left to put the nail in the coffin. In the back for the Jackalopes, their goalie Tate Cagle, went a perfect 100% on saves, saving all 36 shots taken on him. The only goal allowed was an empty net goal on a power play for the Mallards. The Jackalopes move to 2-0 in a 3-1 win over the Mallards.
