FALL League Returns to Blaine Alongside NAHL Showcase

Kenai River Brown Bears
The Kenai River Brown Bears made a statement in their first game against the Odessa
Jackalopes. The only team to hold a shut out on the day, a double digit win shut out at that. The
Brown Bears put 10 in the back of the net. With 7 different goal scorers, 3 of which having
multiple goals, Brody Lockman, Noah Mailette, and Cooper Daikawa each having 2 scores. In
goal was Hunter Sidorowicz who went a perfect 100% on saves. Sidorowicz denied all 15 of
the Jackalopes shots on goal.
Fairbanks Ice Dogs
The Fairbanks Ice Dogs put on a show scoring the most goals of the day, in a dominant win over the Janesville Jets 11-2. The Ice Dogs had 7 different goal scorers but only 1 with multiple goals. Garrett Ficsher dominated the game with 5 goals and even an assist. Jackson Donahue, Joe Howe, Brody Peterson, Tyler Sporney, Christian Erickson, and Cooper Rannow were the other goal scorers. The Fairbanks goalie, Davin Ellis, saved 25/27 shots on goal, only allowing 2 in, he saved 92.5% of the Jets shots.

St. Cloud Norsemen
The St. Cloud Norsemen had a statement game routing the Minot Minatauros 8-1 in their first
game. The Norsemen had 5 different goal scorers, Tobias Walseth led the way with a hattrick and an assist. Logan Ylinen had 2 goals of his own, Nolan Stuber, Waylon Black, and Isaac Snider each putting one in the back of the net. The Norsemen defense was suffocating all game long, only allowing 9 shots on goal. Andrew Skanron, the Norsemen goalie, going 8/9 on saves only allowing 1 in, at 88% in the contest.
Chippewa Steel
The Chippewa Steel dominant in their first game against the Janesville Jets 8-1. Having 6
different goal scorers, Mason Flannery and Ty Haats led the team with 2 goals apiece. Cole
Ahneman, Easton Reimer, Quentyn Crotteau, and Devon Shier all having a goal each. The Steel were ripping shots all game with 65 shots on goal, and even a short handed goal in the first period. In the back Carter Duss, the Chippewa goalie, saved 14 of the 15 shots the Jets took on goal. Allowing 1 goal, he saved 93% of the shots taken on goal.
