Titans 18U forward Delaney signs NAHL Tender

The NAPHL’s T1ER League is pleased to announce that New Jersey Titans 18U forward Luke Delaney has signed a NAHL tender agreement for the 2025-26 season with the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL’s East Division.
Delaney, 19, has been a longtime member of the Titans organization, competing in both NAPHL and T1ER League games at the 15U, 16U, and 18U levels. Over his youth hockey career, he appeared in 44 games across those age groups. During his final season of youth hockey, the Fair Haven, NJ native finished as the team’s second-leading scorer, posting 10 points (7 goals, 3 assists) in 14 games.
He delivered his strongest performance when it counted most, at the Dixon Cup Championship. The ‘06 forward tallied six points during the tournament, including four goals, three of which came while shorthanded. One of those shorties proved especially critical, as it stood as the game-winner in a 3-2 victory over Biggby in the opening game of the event.
Delaney is one of six skaters from New Jersey’s 18U team who has signed an NAHL tender agreement for the upcoming season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2025 NAHL Draft.
