Indiana Elite 18U forward Young signs NAHL Tender

June 24, 2025

The NAPHL’s T1ER League is pleased to announce that Indiana Elite’s 18U forward Trevor Young has signed a NAHL tender agreement for the 2025-26 season with the Northeast Generals of the NAHL’s East Division.

Young, 17, is a familiar face in the T1ER league, having competed at the 14U, 16U, and 18U levels with Indy Elite. Over the course of his career, the Carmel, IN native appeared in 67 games across all age groups, amassing an impressive 59 points (22 goals, 37 assists). His breakout year came during the 2024-25 season, where he tallied 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) in just 15 games, an average of 1.8 points per game.

This season, Young recorded points in all but two contests and registered multi-point efforts in 10 games. One of his most memorable performances came on February 2nd in a win over the Tri-State Spartans, where he notched four points with one goal and three assists.

Young’s 27-point campaign placed him among the top five scorers at the 18U level. His standout play earned him a spot in the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament where he recorded a goal and an assist, and a selection to the All-T1ER Second Team. He is also the lone skater from Indiana’s 18U squad to sign an NAHL tender agreement for the upcoming season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2025 NAHL Draft.
