The NAPHL’s T1ER League is pleased to announce that the Lincoln Stars 18U goaltender Caden Lentz has signed a NAHL tender agreement for the 2025-26 season with the Wisconsin Windigo of the NAHL’s Midwest Division.

Lentz, 18, warped up his second season as a T1ER player with the Stars organization, competing at both the 16U and 18U levels. Over the past two seasons, the 2007 netminder has appeared in 16 games and compiled an impressive 14-2 record. The Omaha, NE native made an immediate impact to start the season, earning four straight wins for Lincoln. One standout performance came in the season opener, where Lentz posted a 22-save shutout in a tightly contested 1-0 victory over Team Maryland.

Another highlight came during the T1ER/T1EHL Invitational in December, when Lentz helped lead the Stars to a 5-1 win over the Ohio Blue Jackets. He turned aside 42 of 43 shots in that game, finishing with a stellar .971 save percentage.

Thanks to his consistent excellence throughout the season, Lentz earned a spot on the All-T1ER 1st Team, an impressive honor recognizing him as the top 18U goaltender in the league.

He is one of six players  from Lincoln’s 18U team who has signed an NAHL tender agreement for the upcoming season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2025 NAHL Draft.
