Indiana Elite 16U forward McIntosh signs NAHL Tender

The NAPHL’s T1ER League is pleased to announce that Indiana Elite forward Jake McIntosh has signed a NAHL tender agreement for the 2025-26 season with the Chippewa Steel of the NAHL’s Midwest Division.
McIntosh, 17, played his second season with Indiana Elite at the 16U level. Throughout the T1ER season, the Westfield, IN, native was over a point-per-game player, registering 22 points (15 goals, 7 assists) in 16 games to lead his team in both goals and overall scoring, finishing 5th overall at the 16U level. His best game came in the Minnesota showcase, where he tallied a hat trick along with a pair of assists in a dominant 6-1 victory over the Nashville Predators 16U team on September 27th.
Before capping off an outstanding T1ER season with a selection to the Top Prospects Tournament, he earned a call-up to the NAHL, appearing in one game with the Steel against the Janesville Jets. During the Top Prospects Tournament in St. Louis, he tallied two goals and added two assists while skating for Team White.
He is one of 2 NAHL tenders to play for Indiana Elite at the 16U level, alongside Fairbanks tender Charlie Rutz.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2025 NAHL Draft.
