NAPHL 2025 SHOW League Playoffs starts TODAY
The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) SHOW League playoffs officially begin today in Michigan, marking the start of an exciting, high-stakes tournament for the 18U, 16U, and 14U divisions. Taking place across two venues—Buffalo Wild Wings Arena in Troy and Suburban Ice in Rochester.
This year’s playoffs also align with the NA3HL Tender Distribution, offering players valuable exposure and potential advancement opportunities in the NA3HL and NAHL Development Ladder. As the competition intensifies, fans and scouts alike will be treated to thrilling matchups, with both the Gold and Silver Divisions.

Tournament Format
18U Division
- 30 Teams divided into Gold and Silver Divisions:
- Gold Division: Four brackets of four teams. Each team will play three round-robin games, with the winners advancing to the semifinals. Remaining teams will compete in consolation games.
- Silver Division: One bracket of 14 teams. Each team will play three round-robin games, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals. Remaining teams will also compete in consolation games.
16U Division
- 24 Teams divided into Gold and Silver Divisions:
- Gold Division: Four brackets of four teams. Each team will play three round-robin games within their bracket, with winners advancing to the semifinals and subsequently the championship. Remaining teams will compete in consolation games.
- Silver Division: Two brackets of four teams. Each team will play three round-robin games, with the top two teams in each bracket advancing to the semifinals. Remaining teams will play a fourth consolation game.
14U Division
- 10 Teams in a single bracket. Teams will play three round-robin games, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals and subsequently the championship. Remaining teams will compete in consolation games.
Determination of Divisions and Seeding
Divisions, competition levels, and playoff seedings were determined based on a comprehensive analysis of regular-season performance, MyHockeyRankings, and strength of schedule.
