CarShield AAA 18U goaltender Bely signs NAHL Tender

The NAPHL’s T1ER League is pleased to announce that the CarShield AAA 18U goaltender Andrew Bely has signed a NAHL tender agreement for the 2025-26 season with the Austin Bruins of the NAHL’s Central Division.

Bely, 17, is a seasoned three-year T1ER player with the CarShield organization. During his tenure with the St. Louis-based team, he has played in 16 games across the 15U, 16U, and 18U levels. This season with the 18U team, the 6'5" netminder has recorded a 2-2 record, including a shutout against the Pittsburgh Stars. In that game, Bely faced 30 shots and turned away all of them, earning a flawless stat line. With four games played so far during the 2024-25 campaign, Bely has maintained a goals against average of 2.06 and a save percentage of .930. 

Bely is one of nine skaters from CarShield’s 18U team who has signed an NAHL tender agreement for the upcoming season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2025 NAHL Draft.
