Biggby Coffee 18U forward Ward signs NAHL Tender

The NAPHL’s T1ER League is pleased to announce that the Biggby Coffee forward Holden Ward has signed a NAHL tender agreement for the 2025-26 season with the Shreveport Mudbugs of the NAHL’s South Division.

Ward,18, is playing his second season in the T1ER league, his first season with Biggby Coffee after making the switch from the Tri-State Spartans. During the 2023-24 season, the Liberty Township, OH native recorded 8 points (4 goals, 4 assists) in 16 games, four of which were Dixon Cup Playoff contests. 

This season, Ward has averaged just under a point per game with 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists) in 8 games, the second overall leading scorer for Biggby’s squad. Of his three goals so far during the 2024-25 campaign, the ‘06 forward has tallied one game winner in addition to one power play goal. His best game to date came on September 27th as he recorded two goals and one assist, including the game winner, during his team’s 5-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Stars. 

Ward is one of seven skaters from Biggby Coffee’s 18U team who has signed an NAHL tender agreement for the upcoming season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the T1ER - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2025 NAHL Draft.
