T1ER announces Peak Performers for East NAHL Experience Weekend (NH)
The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) has announced the T1ER League Peak Performers from the T1ER East NAHL Experience Weekend in New Hampshire. Players were chosen based on their performances in the 18U, 16U and 14U regular season games that took place from November 22nd to 24th in Hooksett, New Hampshire.
18U:
Forward: Ruslanbeck Karim, CATS Academy
Ruslanbeck Karim was an offensive powerhouse posting a total of 12 points in four games for CATS Academy. The ‘07 forward started the weekend off hot netting his first hat trick of the event, including the game winning goal on the man advantage. After notching one goal and one assist during game two, Karim tallied his second hat trick, one of which being the game winner yet again. To cap things off, Karim had a two goal and one assist performance, one being scored shorthanded. With nine goals and three assists, Karim averaged three points per game, the clear leading scorer for his squad.
Defense: Michael Conneen, Valley Forge Minutemen
Blueliner Michael Conneen made quite the impact for his team offensively, tallying a total of six points in four games. Of his six points on the weekend, the Pottstown, PA native notched three goals and three assists, recording at least one point per game. Conneen posted back to back two-point games against the North Carolina Golden Bears and Rothesay Netherwood School, scoring one goal and notching one assist in each contest including a powerplay goal against Rothesay Netherwood.
Goaltender: Thomas Laplante, Rothesay Netherwood School
Rothesay Netherwood’s 6’3” netminder Thomas Laplante had a stellar event posting a perfect 4-0 record over the course of the event. The Rosemere, Quebec native was faced with a total of 112 shots, making 99 saves. His best game of the weekend came on 23rd against the West Chester Wolves. During this tilt, Laplante had an impressive performance as he was tested 34 times, only allowing one goal against for a game save percentage of .971 and a goals against average of 1.
16U:
Forward: Carmine Laspata, Philadelphia Hockey Club
Second-year T1ER player Carmine Laspata has been a huge point producer this season for PHC, recording seven points during his second event of the 2024-25 campaign. The Sewell, NJ native kicked things off by scoring the first goal of the game during PHC’s tilt with the New Jersey Titans. Laspata would go on to have his best game to date, scoring a hattrick, one goal being on the power play in addition to dishing out one assist against North Shore Academy. The leading scorer for the squad would round out the event by recording two assists, one on the second and one on the fourth goal as PHC defeated Boston Hockey Academy by a score of 6-0.
Defense: Maxwell Niebauer, Nest Academy
2009 defender Maxwell Niebauer had a fantastic weekend on the blueliner, averaging 1.5 points per game. The Tampa, FL native recorded at least one point in each of the four games, including two, two-point games on the 22nd and 24th. Niebauer began the event dishing out two assists against the West Chester Wolves, a huge two helpers for his squad. He would follow up by recording one assist against the Mountain Kings and another the Maine Jr. Mariners before wrapping things up scoring one goal and recording one assist during his team’s 4-3 victory over the New Jersey Titans.
Goaltender: Fischer Rogers, Carolina Rage
Fischer Rogers stood tall between the pipes for the Rage, posting back to back victories over North Shore Hockey Academy and the New Jersey Titans. Over the course of these two games, the Wilmington, NC native was faced with a total of 65 shots, making 61 saves, only allowing 4 goals against. Between these two games, Rogers had his best game of the T1ER season against North Shore where he let in a single goal on 28 shots. With these numbers, Rogers had an impressive game save percentage of .964.
14U:
Forward: Jonah Welte, Maine Nordiques
Maine’s second leading scorer Jonah Welte had a stellar set of games whilst in New Hampshire, recording a whopping eight points. His best showing of the season came on the 23rd as the Nords faced off with the Danbury Hat Tricks. During this contest, the St. Petersburg, FL native had an impressive performance not only scoring a hat trick but also assisting on three other goals as well for six points on the day. Welte would follow things up by scoring one goal and dishing out one assist during Maine’s 4-2 comeback victory over the Seattle Kraken.
Defense: Jacob Valliere, New Hampshire Mountain Kings
2010 blueliner Jacob Valliere made his presence known offensively for New Hampshire as he recorded one point per game for the Mountain Kings. After recording one assist against the Danbury Hat Tricks during their first game of the weekend, Valliere would go on to score one goal in the remaining three games. This includes the game tying goal against the Kraken, a huge goal as the Mountain Kings went on to defeat Seattle by a score of 3-2.
Goaltender: Brandon Miles, California Wave
2010 netminder Brandon Miles was great between the pipes for California, earning back to back wins in net over the Danbury Hat Tricks and New Hampshire Mountain Kings. The Newhall, CA native had his best game of the year against New Hampshire, an intense battle between the two organizations as the Wave came out on top by a final score of 2-1 in overtime, a big thanks to Miles. Over the course of the pair of games, he was faced with 32 shots, making 30 shots for a weekend save percentage of .937.
