Team Wyoming improved to 2-1 on the weekend after a 3-2 victory over the North Carolina Golden Bears. North Carolina opened up scoring in the first period scoring a pair of goals to put themselves up 2-0 entering the second period. Wyoming turned things around in the second as they were able to tie things up, one of the goals coming from Hardty Huffman, his fifth goal on the weekend. With just enter three minutes remaining in regulation, Grady Eagle would seal the deal for Wyoming as he netted the game winner at 15:53.
The Chicago Hawks picked up their first win of the weekend after defeating the Santa Clara Blackhawks by a score of 6-2. After scoring just one goal in the first frame, the Hawks went on a solute scoring frenzy as they scored four goals during the second, followed by one goal in the third. Standout players from Chicago included Francesco Mancari who scored a hat trick in addition to tallying on assist and Joe Jacobs who scored two goals and notched one assist.

The California Wave picked up a fantastic 5-2 victory over Nest Hockey, a great back and forth contest. A total of three goals were scored in the first as they Wave entering the second period up 2-1. Jakeob Martinez extended California’s Wave to three before Maxwell Niebauer cut the Wave’s lead, a one goal game entering the final frame. California went on to score two additional goals, securing the victory to remain in the win column.
The St. Louis Sting improved to 3-0 on the weekend after a nail bitter of a game with the Oakland Bears, ending the game with a final score of 6-5. The first period was nothing short of exciting as a total of six goals were scored as the Bears entered the second frame up 3-2. Things would slow down in the second with both teams scoring one goal each, Okland still having a one goal lead as the puck dropped for the third. The Sting would ultimately get the job done as Braden Meszaros scored two goals for St. Louis, bringing his point total to six on the weekend.

The Weber Mustangs picked up a pair of victories over the Santa Clara Blackhawks and Pacific Ridge Hockey Club, their second and third wins of the weekend, both games being one goal contests. During the first game with the Blackhawks, Luke McKinney would be Weber’s hero netting both goals of the game to propel his team to victory. When looking at their second game, netmidner Oakley Frei was stellar between the pipes making 37 of 39 saves for a game save percentage of .949. In terms of goal scoring, David McMahon had himself a day scoring two of their three goals, including the game winner.
The New Hampshire Mountain Kings pulled away with a 5-4 victory over the Midwest Blackbirds, a fierce and exciting game that kept fans of the edge of their seats. Both teams scored a pair of goals in the first, a complete foreshadow for how the rest of the game would play out. The Mountain Kings went on to score two more goals in the second, extending their lead to 4-2 heading into the final frame. After scoring the seventh overall goal of the contest 30 seconds into the third, Midwest attempted a comeback as Cameron Dames found the back of the net not once but twice within two minutes but came up just short.
