SHOW League Season One Week Away

October 4, 2024

The first event of the season for the SHOW League kicks off in just one week! The first SHOW event will feature 60 teams across the 18U and 16U levels and will be held at the Super Rink in Blaine, MN from October 11th - 13th.

The SHOW League has truly made a significant impact in the hockey community by providing a vital platform for developing players. By showcasing their talents to junior and college hockey scouts, players have enhanced opportunities to advance to competitive leagues like the NAHL, NA3HL, and T1ER. This pathway not only highlights the league's effectiveness in player development but also underscores its commitment to helping athletes progress in their careers. The SHOW League also boasts two USA Hockey Tier II National Champions from this past season.

The exclusive tendering system and strategically scheduled events are key components contributing to the success of the SHOW League. By providing internal exposure opportunities and organizing events strategically, the league ensures that players have the best possible chance to showcase their skills and catch the attention of coaches and scouts.

Following the 2023-2024 season, 55 players have been tendered in the NA3HL from the SHOW League along with 10+ SHOW players being drafted in the NA3HL.

The SHOW League is dedicated to helping players progress through the NAHL and USA Hockey ladder of development. One of the unique benefits for SHOW League players is access to the NA3HL Tendering system, which is exclusive to the league. Additionally, events are strategically held in Massachusetts, Michigan, and Minnesota—regions known for their strong college and junior hockey programs. This approach not only maximizes player exposure but also makes it convenient for families to explore college options while their athletes are competing.

The SHOW League is committed to fostering balanced competition by leveraging various data points (CBD Rankings) to assess and ensure that gameplay remains competitive. This approach helps create an environment where players can continuously enhance their skills and development throughout the season and players receive the full support of the NAHL hockey operations and marketing staff. NAHL technologies such as NAStat, NAScout and NATV are being used to maximize player marketing and exposure.

Following the conclusion of the season, four 18U teams will compete in conjunction with the NAHL Columbus Combine front dozens of NA3HL and NAHL.

No other Tier I & II youth hockey league has the support and the resources of the NAHL behind it with the common mission to develop players to one day play college hockey.
