Oklahoma defenseman Horsager makes NCAA DI commitment
The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Garrett Horsager has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Bentley University in Atlantic Hockey.
Horsager, 21, just finished his second full season playing in the NAHL for the Robertson Cup Champion Warriors. The 6’1/181 lbs. native of Rosemount, MN, was an assistant captain during the 2022-23 season and recorded 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) in 57 regular season games. He also added five points in nine Robertson Cup Playoff games, which included the game-winning goal in the Robertson Cup National Championship Game, a 4-3 win over the Austin Bruins.
Horsager was also selected to and played in the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the South Division team, where he had a goal in two games.

During the 2021-22 season, Horsager recorded nine points in 50 regular season games.
During the 2020-21 season, Horsager played in the NAPHL for the Des Moines Bucs AAA 18U team, where his was named to the All-NAPHL 18U Team that season and also played in the 2020-21 NAPHL 18U All-Star Game.
In 19 career NAPHL games, he recorded 21 points. He also made his NAHL debut that season with the Warriors, playing in eight games and recording a point.
