Sioux Falls 16U goalie Pineo gets call to the USHL

The Sioux Falls Power of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) are pleased to announce that 16U goaltender Nick Pineo has been called up to the Fargo Force in the United States Hockey League (USHL).

 

Pineo (6’2/160) is a Grand Forks, North Dakota native and in his first season with Sioux Falls Power in the NAPHL. 

 

Pineo has played for both the Sioux Falls Power 16U and 18U teams this season. He boasts a 2-1-0 record with a 2.34 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.

 

He also played in two Dixon Cup Playoff games, going 2-0 with a 2.00 goals against average and .895 save percentage.

 

Pineo is the 3rd Power player this season to make a USHL appearance.
