Pursuit of Excellence 18U players move onto NAHL, WHL

The Pursuit of Excellence Hockey club of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is pleased to announce the advancement of two players.
18U defenseman Colton Huard was called up and will spend the remainder of the season in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) with the Aberdeen Wings, and forward Kjell Kjemhus has been called up and will spend the remainder of the season in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Prince George Cougars.
Huard, 17, played the first four events this season with the POE 18U team. The 6’1/165 lbs. native of Foothill Ranch, CA, had five points in 18 overall games before his call up to the Wings. While with Aberdeen, Huard has seen action in five games and is a +1.
He played last season with the POE 18U team in the NAPHL, where he had seven points in 22 games played.
Kjemhus, 16, played in 13 total games this season and had six points (all goals). The 5’10/160 lbs. native of Grande Prairie, AB, has appeared in 14 games for the Cougars this season and recorded one point. He has also played in three games for the Regina Pats in the WHL.
Kjemhus played in 14 games last season for the POE 18U team and had three points.
