February 5, 2015

The Omaha AAA Hockey Club, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), are pleased to announce that 18U forward Jarett Mari has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Amarillo Bulls of the NAHL. The Bulls compete in the NAHL’s South Division.
Mari, who hails from Fargo, North Dakota is in his second season with the Omaha AAA organization. To date this season, the 17-year-old forward has amassed 24 goals and 23 assists for 47 points to go along with 72 PIM in 64 games with the Omaha AAA 18U Team.
In NAPHL play this season, Mari recorded 16 points in 23 games played. He played last season for the Omaha 16U team, recording eight points in 19 games played.
Back in January, Mari was selected to play in the NAPHL 18U All-Star Game, where he recorded an assist for Team White.
Mari becomes the fourth player from this years Omaha AAA 18U Team to sign an NAHL Tender this season.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the NAPHL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held in June of 2015.
