December 2, 2013
The West Michigan Hounds of the NAPHL are pleased to announce that 18U defenseman Logan Hudson has joined the NAHL's Johnstown Tomahawks. Hudson, a 6'1/209 lbs. 18-year-old from Mattawan, Michigan, was on the Tomahawks road trip to Wenatchee this past weekend, where Johnstown took three of four points in the series.
"Logan has worked hard this off season to get faster and stronger and is ready for this next step," said Hounds Asst. Coach Rex Trott.
Both Logan Hudson and Logan DeJong-Seniff practiced with Johnstown after the Hounds latest road trip to Cleveland.
Hounds Director of Hockey, Tom Berry says, "This is why we play in the NAPHL. It gives our players this kind of opportunty and the exposure they deserve."
Prior to joining the Tomahawks, Hudson played for the West Michigan Hounds 18U AAA team in the North American Prospects Hockey League. He appeared in 30 games for the Hounds, scoring 9 points (2G-7A). He also played for the Hounds last season, scoring 18 points (5G-13A) in 64 games.
"It has always been our goal to get players ready for the next level," said Head Coach Mark Lawrence.
