In this past season in the NAPHL, Pearson led his team in points. In 22 Games played, Pearson had 11 goals, 13 assists for 24 points. In the playoff rounds in the NAPHL, Pearson had 4 Goals and 6 Assists for 10 points in only 4 games.

The West Michigan Hounds, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), are pleased to announce that Keegan Ward, a forward for the 16U and 18U teams, was selected #248th overall in the 13th round of the OHL Priority Selections Draft by the Plymouth Whalers.  Keegan is a 6'-2" 174lb. 16 year old from Galesburg, Michigan.  Keegan started out this year playing 28 games with the 16U Hounds, he was called up in December to play with the 18U team.

"Keegan's call up was a no brainer,” said U-18 Asst. Coach Rex Trott. "Keegan's size, physical play, and booming shot was something we noticed throughout the year and thought would help our team's success."  "Keegan has had interest at the NAHL, USHL, and OHL levels.  Being drafted in the 'O' is a direct reflection of all the hard work Keegan puts in on a daily basis."

"Keegan has a natural work ethic, something you can't teach,” said U-16 Coach Scott Chartier.  "Keegan works hard every time he touches the ice, and he doesn’t take days off."
