SHOW teams conclude play in Philadelphia

The seventh NAPHL event of the 2022-23 season continued on Sunday at the Aston Ice Works in Aston, PA, as the 18U and 16U SHOW League teams took to the ice in addition to the East Division T1ER teams.
While the SHOW teams wrapped up play on Sunday, the T1ER 18U and 16U teams take to the ice on the fourth and final day on Monday.
This is the seventh NAPHL T1ER event and the second SHOW event of the 2022-23 season, which is the 14th season of the NAPHL.
The majority of East Division teams have played 7-8 league games to date, which came back during the NAHL Showcase in September and the regional event in New Jersey.

18U: The Chicago Hawks shutout the New Jersey Jr. Titans Prep in a 5-0 game. Ethan Mattison scored twice while Brendan Kelly posted the shutout in net. The Northwest Chargers defeated the Jersey Whalers, 3-1. Alexander Tinerella handed out two assists and goaltender Martynas Jurciukonis stopped 14 shots. The Highland Park Falcons snuck past the Maine Nordiques in a 1-0 game. In the third, Jamie Kaufman scored the only goal of the game unassisted. Noah Van Herik took the win in the pipes. The Chicago Jets edged the Philadelphia Little Flyers, 4-3. William Leshnock scored two goals and Christopher Ottsen added two assists. James Casey took the win in net. The Orland Park Vikings took a 3-1 win against the New Jersey Jr. Titans Elite squad. Andrew Kanaus posted two goals while netminder Dane Goodwin stopped 8 shots in the win. The Palmyra Black Knights blanked the Northeast Generals, 8-0. Edward Mirigliano added 3 points and goaltender Brayden Schoch posted a 17 shot shutout. The Maine Nordiques took an overtime win against the Philadelphia Little Flyers, 2-1. Shane Kozlina scored the game winner and goaltender Ryan Piekarski took the win in net. The New Hampshire Avalanche defeated CP Dynamo, 2-0. Goaltender Alex Gerard denied16 shots on his way to the shutout win.
16U: The New Hampshire Avalanche scored twice in the third period for a 3-1 win over CP Dynamo. Jeremy Poirier assisted in all 3 goals while goaltender Wyatt Demers stopped 32 shots. The Palmyra Black Knights topped the Northeast Generals, 6-2. Benjamin Smith added 4 points with 3 goals and an assist. Braydon Hsieh stopped 22 shots in the win. The Chicago Jets took a shootout win 2-1 against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Nicholas Scavone, Karsten Ewert and Liam Keohan all scored in the shootout. The Philadelphia Little Flyers shutout the Maine Nordiques in a 4-0 game. Brian Rhoades recorded 3 points with 2 goals and an assist. Net minder Henry Goosen picked up the win in net. The Chicago Hawks topped the Florida Jr. Everblades 4-1. Adam Lukwinski added 3 points and goaltender Dacoda Jones won in net stopping 27 shots. The Philadelphia Little Flyers defeated the Highland Park Falcons, 4-2. Nicholas Labuono added 2 goals and 1 assist. Netminder Marco Nagy stopped 29 shots in the win. The New Jersey Jr. Titans scored a second period goal that would end up being the game winner in a 1-0 final against the Philadelphia Hockey Club. Nikolas Reich scored the lone goal and goaltender Aidan Rowland picked up the win in net. The Orland Park Vikings silenced the New Jersey Titans Elite, 8-0. Aidan Blokel had a 3 point night while Logan Bruns backstopped 9 shots in the shutout win. The Pekin Dragons took down the Philadelphia Hockey Club 7-3. Colten Cox had a 4 point night including a hat-trick and an assist. Madalynn Summa earned the win in net stopping 17 shots. The Northeast Generals kept the Maine Nordiques off the scoresheet in a 3-0 final. Antonio Fleck picked up 3 points with 2 goals and an assist while Cade Rose denied 20 shots on his way to a shutout. The New Hampshire Avalanche defeated the New Jersey Jr. Titans in a 5-2 score. Brady Gravell had a big game adding 3 points with 2 goals and 1 assist. Wyatt Demers took the win in net. The Philadelphia Rebels took a 2-1 win in a shootout over CP Dynamo.
