NAPHL announces Apex Learning Peak Performers for December

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) announced its Apex Learning Virtual School Peak Performers for the month of December. The players were selected based upon their performance during the NAPHL regular season games played in December at the event in Dallas, Texas and head-to-head games at team sites. Peak Performers are only to full-time NAPHL Tier 1 members.
18U Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Carter Casper, Des Moines Buccaneers AAA
Casper, 18, had 10 points in four games during the event in Texas. The 6’3/200 lbs. native of Chicago, IL, who recently signed an NAHL tender with the Minnesota Magicians, had three multi-point games during the event, which included four goals and six assists.

#3 Star: Dimitry Kebreau, Team Maryland
18U Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Garrett Horsager, Des Moines Buccaneers AAA
Horsager, 18, who is tendered by the NAHL’s Wichita Falls Warriors, had four points in four games in Texas. The 6’1/180 lbs. native of Rosemount, MN, recorded an assist in all four games during the event. He also appeared in the NAPHL 18U All-Star Game.

#3 Star: Brett Robinson, CarShield AAA
18U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Freddy Soderberg, Meijer AAA
Soderberg, 18, won all three of his NAPHL starts during the month including two at the event in Texas. The 5’11/165 lbs. native of Harrison Township, MI, stopped 42 of 45 shots in the two wins in Texas and also posted a 28-save shutout over the Indy Jr. Fuel on December 11th.

16U Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Jake Richard, Florida Alliance AAA
The NAPHL’s leading scorer Jake Richard, 16, was at it again in December. For the third time this season, he earns the top 16U monthly honor as he posted 20 points in five games during the event in Pittsburgh. That included 12 goals in the five games.

#3 Star: Jackson Graber, Florida Alliance AAA
16U Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Jack LaFontaine, Florida Alliance AAA
LaFontaine, 16, had four points in five games played during the event in Texas. The 5’11/185 lbs. native of Wells, ME, had a point in four of the five games, which included two goals and two assists.

#3 Star: Gavin Mears, Ontario Jr. Reign
16U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Blaise Becker, Esmark Stars
For the second month in a row, Becker, 16, earns the 16U goalie honor. The 6’1/165 lbs. native of Phoenix, AZ, allowed just a single goal in two wins, which included 10 saves in an 11-1 win over the East Coast Spartans and a 20-save shutout of Meijer AAA.

15U Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Alex Lunski, Des Moines Buccaneers AAA
Lunski, 15, picked up 10 points in just four games during the event in Texas. The 6’2/170 lbs. native of Chanhassen, MN, had five goals and five assists and had a multi-point game in all four outings.

15U Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Connor Broadhead, CarShield AAA
Broadhead, 15, picked up four points in four games in Texas. The 6’0/165 lbs. native of St. Louis, MO, recorded a point in every game and had one goal and three assists.

#3 Star: Chase Benbow, Indy Jr. Fuel
15U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Jack Solomon, CarShield AAA
Solomon, 15, won both of his starts in Texas, while giving up just one goal. The 6’1/195 lbs. native of St. Louis, MO, had a 16-save shutout of the Tri State Spartans and made seven saves in a 10-1 win over Arizona.

14U Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Matthew Brick, Meijer AAA
Brick, 14, had nine points in four games during the event in Texas. The 5’9/135 lbs. native of East Lansing, MI, had two multi-point games and had five goals and four assists.

#3 Star: Teddy Richardson, CarShield AAA
14U Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Aaron Cunliffe, Colorado Springs Tigers
Cunliffe, 13, posted five points in four games during the event in Texas. The 5’9/155 lbs.native of Colorado Springs, CO, had two goals and three assists, which also included a four-point game.

#3 Star: Kent White, Madison Capitols
14U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Mason Stephens, CarShield AAA
Stephens, 14, won both his starts during the event in Texas. The 5’10/232 lbs. native of St. Louis, MO, made 15 saves in a 7-1 win over Colorado Springs and had 11 saves in a shutout of the West Coast Renegades.
