NAPHL's RoughRiders capture 18U Colorado state championship

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is pleased to report that full-time members, the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders, won the 18U Tier I Colorado State Championship this past weekend.
The RoughRiders finished 3rd in the NAPHL 18U division during the 2016-17 regular season season.
They defeated the Colorado Thunderbirds 2-0 in the State Championship Game. Adam Millar and Brandon Wilky scored the goals in the title game and goalie Cisco Clark-Silva made 14 saves in the shutout.
In addition, the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders 14U team, who completed in several NAHL Future Prospects Tournament events during the course of the 2016-17 season, also won the Tier I Colorado State Championship, with a 3-2 overtime win over the Colorado Thunderbirds.
The Rocky Mountain RoughRiders 16U team, who lost in the NAPHL Championship Game to Esmark back on February 20th, fell 4-3 to the Thunderbirds in the Tier I Colorado State title game.
