NAPHL announces 2012-13 18U award winners

March 22, 2013

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) has announced All-NAPHL First, Second and Third Teams, as well as its All-Academic Team in the 18U division for the 2012-13 season.  In order to be considered for selection, players must have been nominated by their respective coaches.  After that, selection is based on player performance in all NAPHL games throughout the 2012-13 season.

“We congratulate all the players recognized this season on their individual and team accomplishments,” said NAHL Commissioner and President Mark Frankenfeld.  “What is most encouraging to us is that in four short years of existence, the NAPHL is now considered one of the best Tier I youth leagues under the USA Hockey umbrella.  This past season has seen more college and junior commitments by NAPHL players than ever before and that is a testament to the continued improvement in the level of play each season, the skill and hard work of the players and the dedication of the coaching staffs and parents.”
