CarShield AAA 18U forward Ganz signs NAHL tender
The CarShield AAA Hockey organization of the NAPHL are pleased to announce that 18U forward Logan Ganz has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the Odessa Jackalopes of the NAHL’s South Division.
Ganz, 18, just completed his second season within the NAPHL and second with the CarShield Organization. In the 2021-22 season, the 5’9/165 lbs. native of Freeburg, Illinois played in 27 regular season games, scoring six goals and three assists in that span. He also scored a goal and one assist in five 2022 NAPHL 18U Dixon Cup appearances.
Ganz spent the 2020-21 NAPHL season with the CarShield 16U program, recording 20 points in 25 games played.
Ganz was selected to and participated in the 2022 NAHL 18U Top Prospects, representing the NAHL Combine team, recording four points in four games played.
He is the sixth player from the CarShield AAA 18U team who has signed an NAHL tender for the 2022-23 season.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the NAPHL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2022 NAHL Draft
