Northeast 18U forward Zotter signs NAHL tender

December 30, 2021

The Northeast Generals of the NAPHL are pleased to announce that 18U forward and All-Star Nolan Zotter has signed a tender with the NAHL’s Northeast Generals in the East Division.

Zotter, 18, is in his first season playing in the NAPHL for the Generals. The 5’9/157 lbs. native of West Grove, PA, has also suited up this season for the Generals NAHL and NA3HL teams.

Zotter has appeared in 14 NAPHL regular season games so far during the 2021-22 season and recorded 12 points.

He was selected to and played in the 2021-22 NAPHL 18U All-Star Game for Team Black.

He made his NAHL debut back on October 8th and then made his NA3HL debut on December 12th, recording a hat-trick in his very first game.

He is the first player from the Generals 18U team to sign an NAHL tender so far this season.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the NAPHL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2022 NAHL Draft.
