NAPHL Apex Learning Peak Performers announced for 14U Division

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) announced its Apex Learning Virtual School Peak Performers for the 14U Division standouts for the month of November. The players were selected based upon their performance at the fifth NAPHL event of the season, which took place in Frisco, Texas from November 15-18, 2019.

 

14U Division Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Kyle Arias, Orland Park Vikings

Orland Park Vikings 14U forward Kyle Arias, 14, had a big weekend in Texas. The 5’8/115 lbs. native of Orland Park, Illinois recorded 12 points (4 goals, 8 assists) in four games as the Vikings posted a perfect 4-0 record. Arias recorded multiple points in all four wins, which included a four-point game in a 9-0 win in the second game of the event over the Arizona Bobcats.

#3 Star: Josh Taylor, Romeoville Huskies

 

14U Division Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Andrew McCann, Chicago Bruins

Chicago Bruins 14U defenseman Andrew McCann, 14, led all NAPHL 14U defensemen in scoring during the month of November with nine points (3 goals, 6 assists) in four games played. The 6’2/165 lbs. native of Chicago, Illinois, registered at least a point in three of the four outings and had two four-point games in wins over the Ontario Jr. Reign and Vegas Jr. Golden Knights.

14U Division Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Alex Karan, Chicago Hawks

Chicago Hawks 14U goalie Alex Karan, 14, posted shutouts in both his starts during the NAPHL event in Texas in November. The 5’9/153 lbs. native of LaGrange, Illinois, stopped all 35 shots that came his way in his two starts, which included 28 saves in a 6-0 win over the Dallas Stars Elite 13U team and seven saves in a 7-0 win over the Atlanta Phoenix.
