Four different Showcase Division teams punch ticket to Nationals

The Geneva Cyclones, who won the NAPHL Showcase Division Playoff title in January, took home the Illinois State AA 18U Championship.

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is pleased to announce that four different Showcase Division teams have won their respective state championships and have qualified for the USA Hockey Tier II National Championships.
 
At the 16U age level, the Highland Park Falcons won the Illinois State Championship. The McKinney North Stars repeated as the Texas Amateur Hockey Association Tier II State Champions and DSTHL Champions thanks to a 5-2 win in the title game. In Missouri, the Chesterfield Falcons took home their state crown.
 
All three teams have qualified for and will compete at the 2019 USA Hockey 16U Tier II National Championships. The tournament will be in Plano, Texas, April 4-8, 2019.
 
At the 18U level, the Geneva Cyclones, who also won the NAPHL’s 18U Showcase Division Playoff Championship, captured the Illinois State 18U AA Championship. They have qualified for the 2019 USA Hockey 18U Tier II National Championships, which will be held in San Jose, California from April 4-8, 2019.
