Omaha 16U's reflect on USA Hockey Nationals bronze medal

For the secondstraight season, the Omaha 16U team of the NAPHL made it to the final four at the U16 USA Hockey Tier 1 National Tournament and again took home a Bronze Medal.
Omaha AAA U16 defeated the Syracuse Stars, Team Comcast, the Chicago Mission and Team Wisconsin before falling to the eventual champion Shattuck St Mary's in the Semi-Final of Nationals held in Buffalo, New York March 26-30, 2015.
March 26th
Game 1 - Omaha AAA U16 - 7 , Syracuse Stars - 2
Omaha got 4 goals from Ethen Frank (Omaha , NE) , Garrett Anderson (Omaha , NE) had a goal and 2 assists , Bryan Yoon (Denver , Colorado) also added a goal and 2 assists and Maximillian Haselbacher (Vienna , Austria) earned the win in the net for the Omaha AAA U16 Team making 27 saves.
March 27th
Game 2 - Omaha AAA U16 - 7 , Team Comcast - 1
Ethen Frank (Omaha , NE) again led the way with 1 goal and 4 assists. Austen Long (Blaine , MN) had 3 goals and 1 assist and Casey Gilling (Gaylord , Michigan) added 1 goal and 2 assists. Maximillian Haselbacher (Vienna , Austria) again earned the win in net for Omaha making 18 saves.
March 28th
Game 3 - Omaha AAA U16 - 4 , Chicago Mission - 3
Ethen Frank (Omaha , NE) and Jaden Anderson (Omaha , NE)) each had a goal and an assist. Garrett Anderson (Omaha , NE) added 3 assists and Nick Caprio (Chicago , IL) scored the game winning goal in the 3rd period on the power play. Alex Cathcart (Los Angeles , CA) picked up his 1st win of the weekend making 25 saves.
March 29th
Game 4 - Omaha AAA U16 - 3 , Team Wisconsin - 0
Austen Long (Blaine , MN) scored 2 goals. Ethen Frank (Omaha , NE) and Casey Gilling (Gaylord , MI)
each chipped in 2 assists while Johnny Bennis (Eau Claire , WI) scored the game winning goal in the 1st period. Maximillian Haselbacher (Vienna , Austria) was spectacular in net making 27 saves and earning the shutout.
March 29th
Game 5 - Omaha AAA - 1 , Shattuck St Mary's - 4
Shattuck St Mary's jumped out to a 3-0 lead and finished the game with an empty netter late in the 3rd to make the game a 4-1 final. Austen Long (Blaine , MN) scored Omaha's only goal and Shattuck withstood an late Omaha push to seal the deal while moving on to the finals and winning the tournament defeating Honeybaked 7-0 the next morning.
