Omaha 16U duo signs USHL tenders

The Omaha AAA Hockey Club, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) are pleased to announce that forwards Wade Allison (Mirtle, Manitoba) and Van Barr (Kansas City, Missouri) have signed USHL tender agreements.
 
Allsion signed to a USHL Tender agreement with the Tri City Storm. Allison had a tremendous season for the 2013-14 Omaha AAA U16 Team amassing 75 goals and 77 assists for an incredible 152 points in 77 games played overall.
 
In February , Allison accepted a scholarship to play NCAA Division I Hockey  at Western Michigan University starting in the fall of 2016.  At 6'1/200lbs Allison is considered to be a prototypical power forward with a very good scoring touch and is already garnering interest for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. 
 
Barr has been signed to a USHL Tender agreement with the expansion Bloomington Thunder. Barr had a great season for the 2013-2014 Omaha AAA U16 Team amassing 66 goals and 63 assists for an impressive 129 points in 83 games played overall.
 
In addition, Barr accepted a scholarship to play NCAA Division I Hockey at Western Michigan University starting in the fall of 2016.  
 
Barr is a tremendous skater with skill and a lethal scorer. He was also a 1st team PHL All Star and played in the inaugural U16 Top Prospects game in December scoring a goal in the process.
