T1ER Names USPA Peak Performers Following T1ER/T1EHL Invitational

November 14, 2025

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is proud to announce the USPA T1ER Peak Performers from the T1ER/T1EHL Invitational! The event took place October 31–November 3 in Blaine, Minnesota at the NSC Super Rink. From 18U to 15U, the weekend delivered thrilling competition and impressive performances across the league. These players stood out and earned well-deserved Peak Performer honors.

18U:

Forward: Brady Bates, CarShield AAA

After moving up to the 18U level this season following a strong 16U campaign with CarShield, Brady Bates has been unstoppable, leading the 18U level in scoring after another stellar weekend in Blaine. Over four games, the ’08 forward racked up 8 points (5 goals, 3 assists).

His standout performance came in CarShield’s 8-3 win over Fox Motors, where he opened the scoring with the first goal of the game and added another power-play goal to close out the period. In the middle frame, Bates set up two more goals, including a shorthanded assist, finishing with four points in the game.

With eight points this weekend, Bates now averages 1.17 points per game, totaling 14 points (9 goals, 5 assists) in 12 games played.

Defenseman: Maxwell Ackley, Buffalo Jr. Sabres

Despite being a defenseman, Maxwell Ackley was a driving force in the Jr. Sabres’ 3-1 weekend in Blaine, playing a crucial role in the team’s offense. He tallied 8 points over the four games, scoring in every contest and recording assists in three of them. Ackley got his team on the board first in their opening two matchups, setting the tone early.

It’s tough to single out just one performance as he put up identical efforts against the Washington Little Caps, Chicago Fury, and New Jersey Titans, notching a goal and an assist in each game. From defense to offense, Ackley made his impact known all weekend long.

Goaltender: Ryan Bodnar, St. Louis Jr. Blues

The St. Louis Jr. Blues swept all four games in Blaine, with netminder Ryan Bodnar standing tall in two of those wins. He kicked off the event with a 2-1 victory over Biggby, stopping 15 of 16 shots to secure the win.

Game two proved more intense as the Jr. Blues faced a tough Northstar Christian squad. In the 3-1 victory, Bodnar was tested heavily, seeing 31 shots but allowing just one goal.

Over the weekend, Bodnar faced a total of 47 shots, making 45 saves for an impressive .957 save percentage and a goals-against average of 1.00, proving he was a key factor in St. Louis’ perfect weekend.

16U:

Forward: Will Trembley, Omaha Masterty

Will Trembley continues to dominate for the Mastery, averaging 2.17 points per game with 26 points (15 goals, 11 assists) in 12 games so far this season. At the Blaine event, the ’09 forward was on fire, tallying 10 points in four games. He found the back of the net in all but one game, their lone loss on the T1ER season, a shootout defeat to the Capitols.

In their three wins, Trembley delivered his standout performance of not only the event but the season, leading the Mastery to a 10-2 victory over Team North Dakota. He spearheaded the offense with five goals, two on the power play, and added an assist. Five of his eight goals came on the power play, highlighting his knack for making big plays when it counted.

Defenseman: Harrison Dana, Omaha Masterty

In addition to Will Trembley, defenseman Harrison Dana has been making waves this season, sitting just two points behind as one of the top scorers at the 16U level. The Omaha native was a playmaking force throughout the Blaine event, racking up six assists over four games.

After setting the tone with two assists in the opener, Dana had his best performance against Team North Dakota, mirroring Trembley’s standout game. He notched one helper in each period, including two on the power play, finishing with three points in the contest. With half of his assists coming on the man advantage, Dana showed he can create offense in all situations and make a difference from the back end.

Goaltender: Xander Schoenholz, CarShield AAA

Xander Schoenholz put together a strong weekend in net for CarShield, appearing in three games and picking up wins over the Philadelphia Little Flyers and Team North Dakota. The Lake St. Louis, MO native recorded his third shutout of the T1ER season against the Little Flyers, turning aside all 15 shots he faced.

Even in a tough loss to a high-powered Mastery squad, Schoenholz held his ground, facing a massive 46 shots and stopping 43 of them. He closed out the event on a high note with a 25-save win over North Dakota.

Across the three games, Schoenholz faced 88 shots and made 83 saves, finishing the weekend with an impressive .943 save percentage.

15U:

Forward: Will Pugliese, Omaha Masterty

Tied for first in overall scoring at the 15U level, Will Pugliese continues to make an impact, hitting the scoresheet in all four games in Blaine and extending his streak of recording a point in every T1ER game this season. The longtime Mastery forward was lights out during the event, scoring once and adding an impressive 10 assists for 11 points on the weekend.

In Omaha’s tightly contested matchup with CarShield, Pugliese came up big, setting the tone early with the only goal of the first period before assisting on the shorthanded game-winner in a 3-1 victory. He followed that performance with his best outing of the season, notching four assists against the Little Flyers.

Defenseman: Dean Powell, Philadelphia Hockey Club

Dean Powell and PHC rolled through the weekend with a 4-0 record, extending their season mark to 6-2 and holding strong as the second-place team in the division. The 2010 blueliner continues to lead all PHC defensemen in scoring and made an impact in every game, landing on the scoresheet all in four games. He was a true playmaking engine, dishing out seven assists to bring his season total to 14 points.

His top performance came in PHC’s dominant 8-0 win over the Chippewa Steel, where he registered three assists, one in the second period and two more in the third. It marked one of two games this season where Powell has posted a three-point outing, matching his single-game high.

Goaltender: Camden Wooderson, Tri-State Spartans

As a first-year netminder for Tri-State, Camden Wooderson has found immediate success with his new team, and this event only reinforced that. Holding a 5-1 record on the season, two of those wins came in Blaine against the MN Prospects All-Stars and in an overtime thriller versus CarShield.

His performance against Minnesota was his best to date, facing 37 shots and turning away 35 in a hard-fought 3-2 victory. That momentum carried into game two as the Spartans pulled out a big 5-4 OT win, with Wooderson stopping 23 of 27 shots.

Across the two games, the 2010 goalie faced 64 shots and made 58 saves, finishing the weekend with a .914 save percentage. After another busy stretch, his season shot total now sits at 200 through six games.
