Omaha 16U defenseman Brown signs WHL agreement

The Omaha AAA Hockey Club of the North American Prospects Hockey League (PHL) is pleased to announce that defenseman Tyler Brown of the 16U team has signed a standard Western Hockey League education agreement with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL.

Brown , a 15-year-old from Olympia, Washington was a 5th round selection (106th overall) by Moose Jaw in the 2012 WHL Bantam Entry Draft this past May. He is in his 1st season with the Omaha AAA program and so far this season he has produced 1 goal and 2 assists in 7 games overall.

Brown played this past weekend at the NAHL Showcase helping the Omaha 16U's to a perfect 4-0-0 record, where he recorded a goal and an assist from the blueline in four games.
