NAPHL announces Apex Learning Peak Performers for November 2020

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) announced its Apex Learning Virtual School Peak Performers for the month of November.  The players were selected based upon their performance during all NAPHL games played in November, including at the events in Dallas, Texas and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and head-to-head games at team sites. Peak Performers are only to full-time NAPHL Tier 1 members.

 

18U Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Michael Felsing, Esmark Stars

Felsing, 17, shined during the NAPHL event in his hometown. The 5’11/180 lbs. native of Pittsburgh, PA, had nine points in four games, helping Esmark to a perfect 4-0 record during the event. Felsing recorded multi-point games in all four outings, which included two goals and seven assists.

#2 Star: Ryder Brophy, Esmark Stars

#3 Star: Brady Braun, Des Moines Buccaneers AAA

 

18U Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Zachary Stoner, Esmark Stars

Stoner, 18, helped the 18U Stars to a 4-0 record during event with solid play at both ends of the ice. The 6’1/180 lbs. native of Leesburg, VA, had seven points in four games during the event, which included three multi-point games, which included a goal and six assists.

#2 Star: Yahor Ramanau, Esmark Stars

#3 Star: Jack Anderson, CarShield AAA

 

18U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Nolan Suggs, Meijer AAA

Suggs, 18, helped the Meijer AAA 18U team to a perfect 4-0 record during the event in Pittsburgh. The 6’1/170 lbs. native of Commerce, MI, won all three of his starts at the event and allowed just six goals, stopping 95 of a possible 101 shots. That included a 32-save performance in a 2-1 win over CarShield on the final day.

#2 Star: Ethan Isaly, Esmark Stars

#3 Star: Klayton Knapp, Tri State Spartans

 

16U Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Jake Richard, Florida Alliance AAA

The NAPHL’s leading scorer Jake Richard, 16, was at it again in November. For the second time this season, he earns the top 16U monthly honor as he posted 14 points in four games during the event in Pittsburgh. Richard had three multi-point games and had a six-point effort, which included a hat-trick in a win over Meijer AAA.

#2 Star: Kaden Shahan, Northwest Stars

#3 Star: Jack Wuertz, CarShield AAA

 

16U Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Jacob Vassa, Florida Alliance AAA

Vassa, 16, was a contributor in all four games during the event in Pittsburgh. The 6’0/195 lbs. native of Rockville, MD, had four points in four games during the event as Florida Alliance went 3-0-1. Vassa had a point in each of the four games, which included three goals and one assist.

#2 Star: Sean Johnson, Northwest Stars

#3 Star: Max Allen, West Coast Renegades

 

16U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Blaise Becker, Esmark Stars

Becker, 15, won both of his starts for the Stars 16U team. The 6’1/165 lbs. native of Phoenix, AZ, allowed just a single goal in the two wins, which included 22 saves in a 5-1 win over the Philadelphia Little Flyers and an 18-save shutout in a 4-0 win over the Skipjacks Hockey Club.

#2 Star: Joey Oliver, CarShield AAA

#3 Star: Max Geddes, Arizona Bobcats

 

15U Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Owen Meyer, Madison Capitols

Meyer had his best event of the 2020-21 season as he helped Madison to a perfect 4-0 record during the event in Texas. Meyer had 12 points in four games played, which included eight goals and four assists. He recorded multi-point games in all four outings and had six points in a win over Arizona.

#2 Star: Wyatt Farrell, Madison Capitols

#3 Star: Bryce Neil, Northwest Stars

 

15U Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Preston Uttech, Madison Capitols

Uttech, 15, helped the Capitols to a 4-0 record in Texas. The 5’7/133 lbs. native of Sun Prairie, WI, had three points in four games during the event, which included one goal and two assists.

#2 Star: Mason Cramer, Indy Jr. Fuel

#3 Star: Kayden James, Des Moines Buccaneers AAA

 

15U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Isaiah Anderson, Madison Capitols

Anderson, who went winless in the first event in September, flipped the script in November and was in goal for all four of Madison’s wins in the event in Texas. Anderson allowed just nine goals in the four wins and stopped 70 of 79 total shots.

#2 Star: Miller Wiese, Des Moines Buccaneers AAA

#3 Star: Evan Peacock, Indy Jr. Fuel
