NAPHL announces Showcase Division Apex Learning Peak Performers

The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) announced its Apex Learning Virtual School Peak Performers for the Showcase Division standouts for the month of November. The players were selected based upon their performance at the fifth NAPHL event of the season, which took place in Dallas, Texas from November 13-15, 2020. Stats were based on ALL games played.

 

18U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Seth Dragojevic, Texas Tigers

Dragojevic, who leads the 18U Showcase Division in scoring with 16 points in 8 games, had another solid event. The 5’11/190 lbs. native of Oakville, ON, had nine points in four games in Texas, which included at least a point in each game totalling four goals and five assists.

#2 Star: River Perry, Littleton Hawks

#3 Star: Santi Diaz, Texas Tigers

 

18U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Landon Weimer, Littleton Hawks

Littleton Hawks defenseman Landon Weimer, 17, led the Hawks to a 3-0-1 record in Texas with five points in four games. The 5’10/155 lbs. native of Littleton, CO had one goal and four assists and recorded at least a point in three of the four games played.

#2 Star: Luke Burnett, Texas Tigers

#3 Star: Nicholas Bova, Littleton Hawks

 

18U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Andrew Yocum, Affton Americans

Yocum, 18, had two starts during the event in Texas and won both, while allowing just a single goal. The 5’10/165 lbs. native of St. Louis, MO, made 15 saves in a 2-1 win over Tri Valley then had a 32-save shutout in a 2-0 win over the Clearwater Ice Storm.

#2 Star: Aaron Palos, McKinney North Stars

#3 Star: Brandon Clinard, Dallas Penguins

 

16U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Andrew Houser, Dallas Penguins

Houser, 16, who is tied for the 16U Showcase Division scoring lead with 12 points, had a big event in Texas. The 5’10/146 lbs. native of Allen, TX, had eight points in four games, which included seven goals and one assist. That included three multi-point games.

#2 Star: Jentzen Kaebel, Texas Tigers

#3 Star: Noble Cook, Texas Tigers

 

16U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Owen Peters, Chicago Hawks

Peters, 16, recorded at least a point in all four games during the event in Texas. The 6’5/205 lbs. native of Lake Zurich, IL had 2 goals and 4 assists during the event, which also included a three-point game in a 7-0 win over the Arizona Mission.

#2 Star: Owen Thompson, Dallas Penguins

#3 Star: Mason Anderson, Littleton Hawks

 

16U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Cole Fennema, Dallas Penguins

Fennema, 16, was perfect during the latest event in Texas. The 6’0/150 lbs. native of Colleyville, TX, posted shutouts in both of his starts during the event. That included an 18-save shutout of the Arizona Mission and a 15-save shutout of the Park City Ice Miners.

#2 Star: Brenden Teczar, Texas Jr. Brahmas

#3 Star: Joseph DaRosa, California Wave

 

14U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Offense) – Logan Diskey, Houston Wild

Diskey, 14, helped the Wild stay perfect on the 2020-21 season with four more wins in Texas. The 5’6/143 lbs. native of Houston, TX, had eight points in four games during the event. That included six goals and two assists and two multi-point games.

#2 Star: Paul Wiczek, Park City Ice Miners

#3 Star: Joe Lawrence, Rose City Pats

 

14U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Defense) – Kaden Mulcahy, Vegas Jr. Golden Knights

Mulcahy, 14, who is tied the scoring lead among 14U Showcase Division defensemen was able to pick up five more points during the event in Texas. The 5’8/125 lbs. native of Las Vegas, NV, had a hat-trick and two assists in a win over the Arizona Bobcats.

#2 Star: Jack Squibbs, Park City Ice Miners

#3 Star: Alvin Elisson, Houston Wild

 

14U Showcase Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Joseph Gray, Littleton Hawks

Gray, 14, picked up three wins during the event in Texas, posting a perfect 3-0 record. The native of Highlands Ranch, CO, allowed just three goals in three games. That included a 19-save shutout in a win over the Ontario Jr. Reign. He made 30 saves in a 3-1 win over Rose City and made 21 saves in a overtime win over Park City.

#3 Star: Eric Vargas, Rose City Pats
