Ryan Zehnder of the San Jose Jr. Sharks' 18U team celebrates a goal during last weekend's NAPHL event at Sharks Ice-San Jose.

The second North American Prospects Hockey League (NAHL) event of the season wrapped up last weekend at Sharks Ice in San Jose, Calif., and, by all accounts, the showcase was deemed another success.

“It was a great weekend of hockey,” said NAPHL director Denny Scanlon. “We saw a lot of scouts at the rink the entire event, the competition was strong and the staff at Sharks Ice did an outstanding job as hosts.”

After the event, four teams are left tied in the 18U division, with the Indiana Jr. Ice, Detroit Falcons, Thunder AAA and DC Capitals all holding a share of the lead with 16 points.
