Jr. Titans 18U defenseman de la Guardia named MJHL All-Star

The New Jersey Jr. Titans of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), are pleased to announce that 18U defenseman Dominic de la Guardia has been selected to the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League All-Star Game in Walpole, MA on January 26th.
 
The 18-year-old from Flower Mound, Texas is splitting time this season between the Jr. Titans MJHL team and the Jr. Titans 18U team in the NAPHL. De la Guardia, who is assistant captain and defenseman, as played in 27 MJHL games this season with 13 points. It is de la Guardia’s second full season in the NAPHL with New Jersey, where he has recorded three points in 15 games played. 
 
The Met team is tied for fourth in the Dowd Division as they just completed a four game sweep of the second place Frederick Freeze. The Titans moved themselves to within 5 points of first place as they enter the final two months of the regular season.
 
“Tex” or assistant captain Dominic De La Guardia is an essential part of the Titans Met Team. His leadership alone proves his value but his consistently physical and smart play along the blue line and in the defensive zone is what got him noticed by the league.
 
“I want to thank the league for nominating me to the All-Star game and am excited to compete amongst the league’s finest,” said de la Guardia.
